The pilgrims Affairs office of Ghana is to start its second phase of Biometric data capturing for prospective pilgrims in the Northern part of Ghana comprising the Northern region, Upper East Region, Upper West Region, Savanna region and North East Region.The communication department of Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana has since sent out announcements to selected radio stations across the five regions of the North including oral announcements at the various mosques by Islamic Scholars. Below is the official announcement.
It is announced for the information of prospective pilgrims that the biometric data capturing for the Northern Zone is scheduled for Thursday 13th of June 2019 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
The Hajj Board has offered all Hajj Agents with dates and time for and with their prospective pilgrims. This simply means that, prospective pilgrims would be fully informed by their agents when it would be their turn to turn up for the exercise when it commences! Prospective pilgrims may also want to contact their agents for further information and clarifications
NB, do not come to the exercise venue when it is not your turn! The general public must take this advise and caution seriously.
Meanwhile, The usual and annual medical screening introduced by the Hajj Board shall be done simultaneously! Undoubtedly Hajj 2019 is expected to be an improvement of 2018 which was undoubtedly adjudged as excellent.
The exercise per the structure would cover everyone hence no cause for alarm! The Hajj Board shall at all time execute its mandate in the supreme interest of Ghanaian pilgrims.
